I am a newspaper sports copy editor and an Oklahoma State University graduate. I was born in Dallas, Texas, and remain a proud, albeit displaced, Texan. (Fifth-generation.)
I have always had an affinity for the English language, and a love for sports wasn’t far behind.
I have followed my hometown teams, the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Stars, for more than a decade. I enjoy football in general, and while pro basketball is not my favorite, the college game has definitely grown on me.
I went to Oklahoma State, but I have a healthy respect for the University of Oklahoma and its programs, as well as the rest of the Big 12 Conference.
My other interests include learning how to be a mom, weather, ancestry, reading, photography, fantasy sports and my friends and family.
My husband and I live with two orange, purring furballs and, coming soon, a baby boy.
